According to news sources, a head-on collision in Boynton Beach resulted in the death of a young woman over the weekend. On Saturday, September 25, a driver of a 2013 BMW X3 drove over a median and crashed head-on into a Toyota Tundra.  The Toyota Tundra was traveling north on Military Trail.  The passenger in the back seat of the Toyota Tundra, a young woman, died from injuries.  The front driver of the Tundra and the front seat passenger were seriously injured. There was no suspicion of drug or alcohol use by the driver of the BMW.

Head-on collisions are one of the most common types of car accidents in the United States. Head-on collisions are usually caused by one of the drivers making a serious error.  This is because for a head-on collision to occur, the vehicles have to be traveling in opposite directions. Head-on collision impacts commonly cause serious injuries to the occupants of the vehicles.
